PSC lives the values we encourage in the workplace in every aspect of our lives, and takes an active role in the local fundraising and technology communities. Several employees manage the PSC Philanthropic Committee. The goal of the Philanthropic Committee is to develop PSC Group’s volunteer and charity efforts, and utilize these as opportunities to bring PSC employees closer together and closer to their community and the groups that are important to them.
Along with monetary donations, PSC Group has taken their philanthropy efforts to new levels. We schedule several opportunities per quarter, allowing employees and their families new ways to get involved. The Philanthropic Committee organizes events where people can donate items through Toys for Tots and One Warm Coat, and also time through volunteer efforts with WTTW-PBS Channel 11, Relay for Life, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and several others.
We are actively involved in the Ronald McDonald House Charity and support local families through several philanthropy initiatives annually as well. We are dedicated to participating and supporting all philanthropy efforts that are important to our employees.
In 2013 we introduced the PSC Social Committee, an employee based group, that plans exciting and fun social events outside of the office. This group encourages PSC employees to spend time together on a social level as well. This allows our remote consultants several opportunities throughout the year to not only engage with their peers, but experience the culture of PSC.
