The April 2019 release of Dynamics 365 will be the first major platform update where all Dynamics 365 online customers will be on the latest version and ongoing update schedule in unison. It will also serve as a guide to how all major updates will occur annually, each April and October.

This iteration of the Power Platform will usher in loads of new capabilities to tie in the latest Microsoft tools including PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI, and the Common Data Service to extend and integrate Dynamics 365 functionality, utility, and data like never before. Integration points with Office 365 have also been bolstered to realize further value from the popular platform.

Dynamics 365 April Update

Microsoft has prepared a helpful synopsis of this major update to help customers prepare for the capabilities and be ready to leverage the improvements it will enable for users. The timeline also includes early access to preview the coming functionality. Review the timeline and details here.
